In the new book Raw + Material = Art, street art author Tristan Manco tries to encourage the sustainable development in design and art. The 38 featured artists all have different influences and beliefs but their work has one thing in common: They use resources that otherwise would have been wasted. 
The artists use garbage like old skateboards, flip-flops and broken bottles but also more established mediums such as wood, paper, stone, concrete and steel, to create low-cost but still solid quality work. The items are well thought through and show a great consciousness about the current anxiety for the environment.
