Kasal de Roquetes
There are three more bands for your listening pleasure available on Saturday night courtesy of Human Feather and Ojala ests mi bici.
Picore are from Zaragoza and are a trance-rock-5-piece-quartet: 9 years old, abundant facial hair, 4 albums, 2 vinyls, heterodox vocation, good manners, allergy to rock stars and a resistant odometer. Incredible deformed rock songs. Minutely detailed, weirdly angled and yet amazingly fun and danceable - reorganising your cerebrum and making your body move around in a weird and very good way.
They will be supported by Common Deflection Problems who are a Napoli, Italy via London three piece band that creates adrenaline fueled killer mathcore jazz meets what-the-fuck-was-that style rock music. CDP has all the makings of a great mathcore band: the alphabet soup of notes; the start/stop time switches, creating undanceable rhythms on a dime... these are all things that make math rock an adventurous and gripping genre. You never really actually know whats going to happen next.
Also on the bill are London-based Cutthroat Convention who have built-up their reputation by putting themselves about regularly playing gigs and the scissor-flavoured street art that they may know something about. Cutthroat Convention sound like they are soundtracking some weirdly obscure 70's arthouse horror film, all those slasher stabs and cuts, those menacing violins, booming bass lines and eastern flavours.
