La Setmana de les Terrasses dels Hotels de Barcelona
From live jazz, film screenings, synchronised swimming shows in a glass pool, welfare talks, to children's activities, art exhibitions and magic shows, the entertainment on offer this week is endless. Each of the 50 participating hotels has its own interpretation of classiness and charm; the posh parties or utter serenity necessary for escaping the pulsing tempo of the streets below.
Attending these rooftops events can give you a chance to win one of three great prizes in a photography contest: a night in one of the hotels, a camera, or an iPod. All you have to do is snap some dazzling photographs epitomising the terrace party atmosphere, and their connection with the city beyond.
