The three groups with the most votes will receive the top prize:
- To perform at Arenal Sound 2012.
- Record an acoustic concert of three songs in a television studio, recording with 4 cameras and with public for further promotion on television.
- Be interviewed in the 97.7 Radio and levanter-emv.com when the contest is over and will have a special summary of the contest in the newspaper El Levante.
Bands in positions 4 to 50 will have the chance to record a single in Arenal Sound's studios. The bands must be in the genre of pop, rock, indie or mestizaje. The competition is international, which means people from all countries can participate.
The winning DJ will also be rewarded with a show at Arenal Sound 2012, and with a performance at the well-known gigantic nightclub Ministry of Sound in London this year, with the flight and hotel included. And last but not least – they will get to participate in the Miami Winter conference in March next year, flight and hotel included.
The second best DJ will get to perform at Arenal Sound and Ministry of Sound and the third best DJ will get to perform at the festival as well.
The winners are selected partly from the popular votes (50%) and partly from the jury's expertise (50%).
The winners will be announced the 2th of July 2012.
Last year, 19-year old Sergio Hernandez aka DJ Soak won Arenal Sound's DJ competition and is one of the most promising young DJ talents in the world. Last week he performed with Skrillex in Qoqoa.
